Community Oracle Reading ~ August

(I'm offering monthly oracle readings here and on Instagram! Check in around the 1st of each month for the monthly medicine - these are channeled for my community with the intention of accuracy and clarity for all who read this. If you missed July's reading on Instagram, head over there and check it out. And from here on out, all readings will be posted here on my blog as well. Enjoy!)

August asks: where do your loyalties lie, and WHY? Where are you obedient and/or co-dependent in relationships that don’t serve? Heed wise council from the Elder who knows: history repeats. It is essential that we start listening. It is essential that we practice following our own internal guidance systems as though our very lives depend upon it.

Just because you have the capacity to push-through-no-matter-what (#manifestinggenerator anyone?), doesn’t mean you should. Boundaries are needed now; put your personal sovereignty first. Avoid the urge to forge ahead “just because”. Operate from your inner truth rather than from external training. Throw your domestication into the fire and reclaim your wildness.

Our healing focus this month is Water. Water is life-giving (like Source/Spirit). We are made of mostly water. By healing our relationship with the element of Water, we in turn heal ourselves and our connection to Spirit.

Notice where standing up for what’s “right” may have unconsciously morphed into into a bit of self-righteous indignation. Justice doesn’t necessarily require aggression. Notice where you react versus respond. The sacred pause is your friend. One mindful breath may be all that’s needed to activate your compassion.

Good leaders carry the medicine of Love while also holding themselves to a high standard of integrity. May we embody this harmonious Yin/Yang balance within ourselves.

If you find yourself amidst many spinning plates this month, do what you can to stay awake and alert. Expect change, and above all else, be ready/willing/able to ADAPT.

Love and Wild Beauty,

Nicki
